2 Months Old

Take a good look, cause this little girl is rapidly changing. My favorite thing that she does now is cooing and smiling to get my attention, and it works like a charm! Her eyes are still bright blue, and I'm wondering if she's going to be a red head??

Loving Sisters

Sophie and Zoe are such good big sisters. They love to announce Chloe's accomplishments (Mommy look - she's doing it!! She's getting her toy!) and are quick to comfort her when she's crying. I'm glad they see her as more than just a lump that takes up mommy's attention!

Earrings!

Check out the before and after shots of Zoe getting her ears pierced. She cried for about a minute after, then stopped immediately when offered a lollipop. She kept coming up to us the rest of the day to say how much she loves her new earrings!

Miss Personality

Chloe's little personality is getting bigger everyday!

So Big!

Chloe is strong like her biggest sister, and now she can bear weight on her legs. She loves the new perspective!

Smiley Girl

Chloe's smile reminds me so much of Zoe as a baby, and lately she's been showing off her grin more and more. Yesterday we had our last appointment with Lisa. Chloe weighed in at 9 lbs 2 oz and measured 23 inches. We'll take her to the pediatrician for the first time when the girls go for their yearly check ups next month. We'll miss our visits with Lisa, and we're so thankful for all she has done for our family.

First Friend

Chloe's BFF Brianna came over for dinner last night, along with her parents and big sister Ashlyn. My neighbor Melissa and I went through our pregnancies together (she was due 8 days before me), and now that our babies are here we've been spending time together surviving our exhaustion!

Daddy's Girls

Sundays, known as "Daddy Day" around here, are the best!

Happy Easter!

We had a fun day celebrating Easter with our neighbors. We joined them at their church for Easter services, then went to their house for a late lunch. While eating dessert, we all started to feel a little funny and noticed that the chandelier was swinging and the blinds were swaying, when it occurred to us that it was an earthquake! After watching the news for awhile and marvelling at the fact that we had all just experienced an earthquake, we moved the get-together to our house for an Easter egg hunt. It was a beautiful day, so after the hunt we all just enjoyed the weather and let the kiddos run around. Before we knew it, bedtime had arrived. Three kids in bed asleep by 7:30 was the perfect end to a wonderful day!

The Real Chloe

Takoda is going to great lengths to get some attention these days. He has a ways to go on his Chloe impersonation!

Almost Easter

We've been having fun gearing up for Easter. Our play group did it's annual egg hunt this week, and the girls and I had fun baking "bunny cakes".
