My Three Daughters

Just a picture of the girls since I wanted to update Chloe's stats. She now weighs 8 lbs 2 oz and is 21 inches long. Our midwife doesn't give us the percentile info so I looked it up online. It says Chloe is in the 10th - 25th percentile for height and the 5th - 10th percentile for weight. Our babies always start out itty bitty and end up zooming to the top by one year! Everything looks great, although she has an umbilical hernia just like her big sister Zoe. Hopefully both girls' hernias will resolve on their own (Zoe is doing a good job of leaving hers alone now) and they won't need to have surgery.

Desert Museum

We had a fun day visiting the Desert Museum with my sister and the boys. The kids lasted 5 hours with only a few complaints from the Arizona girls about the heat - the boys and my sister were soaking up every sun ray they could before heading back east! It was a fun way to end a super fun visit.

One Month Old

Chloe was a great model for her first Pooh Bear picture session. She had her eyes wide open, which is becoming more common these days. We still haven't gotten on a set schedule, but her awake and sleep periods are becoming more predictable so hopefully we'll get a planned nap schedule going soon. Chloe is a very easy baby, or maybe it's just easier the third time around! We're already starting to see glimpses of her personality. She's very curious and alert, and she's already smiling - and not just in her sleep or when passing gas! She's super strong and can hold her head up very well now. She enjoys her activity mat, but her favorite entertainment is her big sisters! Check back in a few days for her official length and weight stats - we see the midwife for her 1 month appt. on Wednesday.

Fun with Cousins

The girls have been having a blast playing with their cousins Chase and Tanner, and I've been enjoying the extra hands available for diaper changes and buckling car seats!

Cute Chloe

Our littlest one is rapidly changing, and she seems to get cuter everyday!

Tinker Toys

Sophie and Papa Clark had fun building with Tinker Toys. He's much better at it than mommy!

Founder's Day

We had so much fun at Founder's Day last year that we decided to try it again. We didn't make it in time for the parade (it takes a lot longer to get three children out the door), but we had lots of fun playing on the tractors, building bird houses, petting the animals at the 4H petting zoo, looking at model trains, and eating in the grass while listening and dancing to "Elvis". Maybe next year we'll make it in time for the parade!

Sleeping Beauty

Reid Park

We spent Sunday afternoon at Reid Park. It was beautiful in the sun, but a little chilly and breezy in the shade. That didn't discourage the rest of the families in Tucson - the park was packed! In addition to a picnic lunch and a free turn on a jumping castle, the girls got to feed the ducks and ride the train around the lake. Chloe enjoyed the fresh air and bumpy stroller rides!

Crossroads Park

We have a new park in town! The Crossroads park at Silverbell is a great park right next to the Wheeler Taft Abbott library. In addition to a playground, there are ramadas with tables, ball fields, walking paths, and even some ancient ruins that were discovered during the construction (they're behind special fencing - for viewing only). The girls have visited the park twice now - once just to play and once for a birthday party. We give our new park two thumbs up!

Chloe's First Days

It's pretty tough being a newborn. Zoe is fond of reminding us of all the things that Chloe can't do (like eat birthday cake and go down the slide), and she's good at reciting the few things she can do: eat, sleep, pee, poop and cry. Here are some pics of Chloe during her first days, including her first car ride!
