Desert Museum

We managed to squeeze in one last trip to the Desert Museum before our membership expires. We still have several guest passes that will get us in if we really want to go, but once the temperatures rise, being outdoors gets crossed off our list!

On this particular trip Chloe spent a lot of time out of the stroller, which meant that the big girls were way ahead of us on the trails. I also was very focused on keeping Chloe out of the cacti, so I didn't get too many pictures. I did manage to capture this cute moment of Chloe picking a flower (a big no-no at the museum but no one said anything) and sniffing it.
Since I didn't get any pictures of the big sisters at the museum, we took some once we got home. They both happened to choose purple sundresses for our excursion.
Sophie designed the set for her photo shoot, including the hair accessories, dress up shoes and vanity stool.

Me Too, Me Too!

Sophie and Zoe love to play dress up. In fact, pretend play is their absolute favorite thing to do. Chloe likes to get in on the action now too. Here she is dressed up like a ballerina for an exquisite performance of Swan Lake. She had help putting on the tutu, but she frequently finds necklaces, bracelets and other accessories that she puts on all by herself. She can also be found carrying a purse, putting on "lipstick" and attempting to wear the many pairs of dress up heels that we have.

More Visit Pics

Here are some more pictures that were taken during Grandma Ann and Papa Clark's visit.

Grandma Ann and Papa Clark Visit

We were so happy to have Grandma Ann and Papa Clark come for a visit. In addition to having them here for Chloe's birthday, they were also here for our 5th wedding anniversary. We got the best anniversary present too: 3 days of babysitting so we could go to San Diego for a little getaway! The girls didn't miss us too much since they were having a blast playing with Grandma. And we hear that Papa and Chloe became good buddies during our absence.
